Story
Mind are a charity who have helped me out a lot during my life, and it is a great honour to be running for them.
In the summer of 2016, I had a mental breakdown that had been precipitated through overworking myself and being in a non-constructive work environment and this led to me being diagnosed with Generalised anxiety and mild depression.
Mind offered me advice, advocacy and were able to offer me counselling, something which I am incredibly grateful for.
However, the help that they offer can only be provided if they're well funded; I'm running Tough Mudder because A) I hate running and B) I fancy something a little more challenging than a standard half-marathon and C) People apparently like to watch me suffer.
1 in 3 of us will suffer from a mental health crisis, and I'm sure a great number of people reading this will have gone through a tumultuous time too. So for anyone that has had mental health issues, or knows someone who has, please dig deep and donate.
