Story
£100 (on this page) + £70 (cash paid to me, donated to the Ronald McDonald page) = £170 Thank you!!!
I am taking part in 2 Charity Rides for 2 great causes both 100 miles full of hills within 5 days of each other. Hopefully I'll end up finishing them both.
The first ride on the 10/06 is for the Steve Burne Rooms at the Ronald McDonald. Sadly Steve Burne was diagnosed with cancer in May 2017 which was confirmed as terminal in October. In addition to Steve's role at AEW Architects he has been closely involved with the Ronald McDonald House Charities for 15 years and acted as Chair of the Manchester House Board of Governors since it opened 5 years ago. This ride will aid in the main goal of £250,000 to help convert 3 spaces in the Manchester House into larger 6 person family rooms, which will be named in honour of Steve. To find out more details please follow the link: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/philip-sayle1.
The second ride on the 15/06 is dedicated to the RIBA Student Hardship Fund, supporting less fortunate students studying Architecture through a range of scholarships to help them through their studies. For more follow: https://www.architecture.com/whats-on/riba-charity-bike-ride-2018.
If you would like to follow my training which is currently underway and seems to be never ending check out the link below.

Unfortunately I cannot split the money on this page so all donations go to the RIBA Fund but all the donations that have been made to me by cash (£70!!!) will be donated straight to the Ronald McDonald House Charity!
Thank you all so much for all your support!
