Last year, over 1,500 kids were admitted overnight to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh during the holiday season. With your help, we can ensure each patient who walks through our doors receives a new toy to make them smile. All donations will be available for the Child Life Department to purchase new toys and gifts for patients spending the holidays in Pittsburgh. Together our community can ensure that smiles and laughter fill the hallways at UPMC Children's this holiday season! 

As a family, this will be our 4th Annual Holiday Toy Drive for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, in honor of our daughter, Madison, who has Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis. Madison was diagnosed with Pediatric MS in 2018 and has overcome many obstacles along her health journey. The Child Life department at Children’s has been a huge pick-me-up for Madison over the years as she got through many days of MRI's, treatments, doctor appointments, and procedures. We really look forward to this time of year when we can give back to a place who has helped us so much! Bringing joy to other kids in the hospital is something Madison truly enjoys and at her young age, we love to continue to encourage her giving spirit! 

In 2019, with the support of wonderful donors like you, we collected over 500 toys to drop off to the kids! Last year, in 2020, we held our first virtual drive, due to Covid-19, and raised close to $2,000 and around 60 toy/gift items that were shipped directly to the kids at the hospital. This year, the drive will be virtual again due to restrictions still in place, but we hope to top last year's goal and bring even bigger smiles to the kids!

(If you don't let us know what you purchased, we will have no way of tracking which gifts are bought to go towards this drive, in honor of Madison. Please make sure you keep us posted so we can update Madison too on what is coming in for the kids! She loves to see the gifts and toys that will go to kids like her.)
