We offer free support to people with cancer and their loved ones

Story

Maggie’s is extremely excited to have support from Misfits fire starter and Game of Thrones villain Iwan Rheon, who is helping us raise much needed funds for Maggie’s in Cardiff.

Iwan who has played many roles across film, theatre and TV including
Ramsay Bolton in the hit series Game of Thrones has kindly agreed to hold a Zoom call together with 5 lucky winners of our raffle! The call will take place at 6pm UK time on 27th May (subject to change depending on Iwan’s schedule) and will last for 30-40 minutes. Each winner will have the opportunity to ask Iwan questions and hear about his latest role.

Tickets are £5 each for this unique, one of a kind opportunity to speak directly with Iwan. You can enter as many times as you like. £5 will get you one entry, £10 for two entries and so on. Please read the terms and conditions below before purchasing a ticket.

Please make sure you tick the box to allow us to contact you. If you donate anonymously we cannot enter you in to the raffle as we will not have your details to contact you.

About Maggie’s

At Maggie’s we know that when you’re diagnosed with cancer you need much more than just medical treatment. You might need
information about how treatment will affect you; emotional support and practical advice; a place to go where you can meet and talk to people who are going through the same things. We’re here for anyone with cancer and their loved ones, whatever kind of cancer, and whatever stage they’re at. All our support is free, and no appointment or referral is needed.

When a person receives a cancer diagnosis their whole world can fall part. People struggle to comprehend the news they have just received; their mind is flooded with questions and they feel overwhelmed with a confusing range of thoughts and feelings – this is why the demand for our specialist cancer support services is growing every year and why your support has never been more needed.

We focus on the things that really make a difference, like money worries, help with stress and depression, managing side-effects and relationship and family support. Our support has been shown to improve physical and emotional wellbeing and to help people take control when cancer turns life upside down.

T’s & C’s

The closing date for the raffle is 24th May at midnight.

The 5 winners will be notified by email or phone on 25th May – please ensure you allow JustGiving to pass your details on to us so that we can contact you. You will then be asked to submit your questions to us for review ready for the call on 27th May.

The link to the zoom call will be emailed to you on the day of the call.

Entries can only be made via this JustGiving page.
