Yes, I’m back on the bike.  This my 4th year of joining with the Manpower team in cycling for 4 gruelling days in the saddle and for 300 miles with a great bunch of people.

Again a group of 35 Manpower staff  are undertaking the journey and again we need your help and support.  We start on 30 August and end on 3 September 2012 finishing at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. 

The ride is a superb, well-organised event with a great deal of local and national publicity and support on both sides of the Channel.  Incredibly, the only other sporting event which closes the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees is the Tour de France, so we are in good company!  

 All of this is in aid of the Royal British Legion, one of Manpower’s chosen charities for this year.  All funds raised will go towards providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their dependents. The Royal British Legion is a major campaigner for improved treatment for the recently returned and wounded and the bereaved. They pledge to care and campaign for these people, today and for the rest of their lives.
