Mum was the most amazing inspiring person i know and has battled for 7 years through cancer. She underwent surgery to remove the lower lobe of her lung, and Chemotherapy which when she got to 5 years got her the all clear, little did we know that she actually still had cancer and a few months later was re diagnosed. She fought it with more courage and hope and was just amazing throughout more chemo, then second line chemo, and radiotherapy. Sadly this brought the end of the road and on the 2nd march we lost her. She died peacefully knowing that the people that loved her were with her and loved her more than words can say. 
Mums Funeral is on Tuesday 19th March we have asked for only family flowers but would welcome donations to Macmillan. Mums Mac nurse was a real source of support to mum and really made a difference in the last few months.
