Dear family and friends,

As you know I have taken up quite a lot of running again lately! This is to prepare me once again for not only the London Marathon but also the Paris Marathon! Three years on from my first breakthrough attempt to run, let alone do the marathon, I have found myself back into it! But this time I’m ‘stepping it up’ and doing two! A young teenage me would’ve found this completely unfathomable. The primary reason I am running these marathons is to support Clic Sargent, a charity which I feel deeply committed to. Clic Sargent is an amazing and very precious charity which supports children and young people with cancer. Our children’s health and well being are the most important thing to all of us and I cannot begin to imagine what such a diagnosis would do to a family. So. That’s why I run! To support Clic Sargent. Those of you that know me well know that I am not a natural athlete and none of this comes easy but it is worthwhile. So please do sponsor me, whatever you can will be greatly appreciated and I promise you it will inspire and motivate me to get my sore, slightly ‘battered’ 47 year old body around over 52 miles of Paris and London.
