Having lost two close friends, two teammates so suddenly in November 2017 and July 2018. 

I made one last promise to a great friend to do something to honour their memory. These recent events have opened my eyes to how short life can be and how we must make the most of each day, particularly with our children, whom my friends loved more than anything. I will run to honour their memory. 

In June 2019 I will be completing an ultra marathon of 69 miles in less than 24 hours raising funds for Children With Cancer. 

Cancer touches so many lives and seems all the more harsh and cruel when it attacks children. Since becoming a Daddy in 2014 and expecting my second child in July, children's charities have become a focus for my fundraising. I can't imagine the turmoil that parents must face when their child receives a diagnosis of cancer.
