I am putting on my Santa outfit again this year to run 3 miles/5km and to raise urgently needed funds for Mind in Harrow's Information Helpline, the only one in the area. This time I will be running on Sunday, 9 December 2012 in Kenton, Harrow (North West London) together will St Luke's Hospice supporters.

Our Information Helpline is vital service for hundreds of people each year. For example, if a caller wants to find affordable counselling or where to get help in a crisis. Here are a couple of examples of recent feedback from callers:

"I'd be homeless without Mind in Harrow's help." (Sept 2012)

Mind in Harrow is a registered charity whose mission is to improve the mental health and well-being of local people.

I aim to raise a minimum of £150. What difference will this money make? Every £10 will pay for at least 1 person to access our Helpline for support at the time when they need it most. Timely help can mean the difference between the first steps to recovery or a crisis turning to a tragedy.
