Story
On Sunday, 3 May 2015 I will be cycling 140km in the inaugural Tour de Yorkshire Sportive. As I struggle up hill and down dale, I hope my efforts will raise a few pennies for Jeremiah's Journey, a charity that offers support to children and their families who have experienced, or are anticipating, the death of someone special.
For me, the sportive's distance is perturbing, the size and steepness of the hills scare me and my MS just adds a big dollop of anxiety. But if it becomes too painful, I can simply get off my bike. The kids facing the challenge of their young lives simply cannot. That's surely worth a quid?
Thank you
Mark
