Freedom Supports people struggling in many ways. Here is a story of how we have helped. A homeless lady who suffers from depression came into the drop-in centre for a food parcel. While getting her parcel I chatted to her about how she was, she hadnt had her medication for 10 days as she had been unable to get through to her Doctors due to long waiting times on the telephones and was unable to go to the Doctors to check because of Covid-19 restrictions. She was unsure if she had a repeat prescription at the chemist already. While she was at the centre I called the chemist and the Doctors and managed to arrange for her prescription to be sent to the chemist for her to collect by the end of the day.
