I ran the North Devon Marathon on 30th June 2013 and promised myself that if I survived I would run The Bideford Bay 50km Ultra Marathon on 7th September in memory of my friend Mark Walker who died, far too young, on 22/10/12. He loved his walking and the wild outdoors and enjoyed getting out on the North Devon coastline. He was, and still is, very much loved by family and friends and was always the life and soul of any gathering. 

I would like you to sponsor me whatever you can afford to raise money for research into Ehlers Danlos. 

This ultra is 50km (31 miles) with 5000ft of ascent so worth a quid or two I'd say, so dig deep  ;-)
