1 Man, 1 bike, 1 spare pair of pants, no time to train and no doubt some appalling weather. 

It is my intention to complete the nearly 1000 mile Land's End to John O'Groats bike ride in 12 days starting on the 10th Dec 2014.

My motivations are 2 fold.  Firstly I have always wanted to complete this challenge and a little leave from work prior to the Christmas break has provided me with the opportunity.  

However, my primary motivation for completing the challenge is to raise some much-needed cash for Great Ormond Street Hospital.  I was hugely privileged to meet Jude Taylor during his all too brief time with us.  During this brief visit to GOSH I was massively impressed by the quality of care provided for Jude and others.  I would be extremely grateful for your support as I complete this challenge, hopefully in a small way we can contribute towards helping children in a similar situation to Jude.
