Sparkle ensures Gwent children with complex needs, along with their families, are fully supported & able to participate in valued childhood experiences, with access to the same range of opportunities, life experiences, activities & community services as any other child & their family.

Story

Sparkle have supported our family in so many ways. We have had not just medical support, but it has been the workshops, medi-cinema, support groups, after school clubs and the amazing staff and volunteers with their willingness to go that extra mile.

Not only have our two children with additional needs been supported, but they have provided opportunities for their siblings - this has had a positive impact on both theirs and our family life.

Having recently been bereaved by the loss of one of our family, they have continued to support us. The running was to be ‘my’ challenge but it is now my way of doing something in memory of Kezia and the amazing support and friends she had from Sparkle.

Sparkle supports children in South Gwent with a disability and/or developmental difficulty. Around 500 children visit the Serennu Centre every week for treatment, support and care. It is the only facility of its kind in the UK where children and families can access medical and holistic services from under one roof. Please consider making a donation to Sparkle. In doing so, you will be helping transform the lives of hundreds of local children. Life isn’t easy for many of them, but we can help. Please donate today and help a child sparkle.
