Story
Ambitious about Autism is the national charity for children and young people with autism.
The vast majority of us are touched in some way by autism whether it be family or friends. Here are some facts:
- More than half of autistic children in England have been denied full time education or sent home from school illegally.
- Only 1 in 5 of people with autism in England are employed - this rate is amongst the lowest even compared with other disability groups.
- Around 4 in 5 people with autism report feeling socially isolated.
Ambitious about Autism raises awareness and understanding, and campaign for change. Through the Tree House School, The Rise School and Ambitious College, they offer specialist education and support. The aim is to make the ordinary possible for those affected.
