Story

I was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine cancer 12 months ago so to mark this Anniversary I am planning to walk 150km during the month of February 2021.  Some may be aware that a walk of 50m was a challenge for me during last summer so I plan to donate £5 for every km I walk to further help this charity.  This rare form of cancer is incurable, however it does respond well to treatment so I would like to give something back to allow further research. Despite being diagnosed just as the Covid pandemic was starting I must say that the NHS have been outstanding throughout my journey and everything possible has been done. I have now completed my 6 month course of chemo and feeling really well, in fact almost back to normal. Just need this pandemic to get under control so I can get out and live my life to the full.

I would really appreciate any support you can offer.  Many thanks.
