We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

We are fundraising for three incredible charities that are all close to our hearts and with which many of us have a direct personal connection. Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital has been instrumental in treating some of the challenging and complex needs of our children, St David's Hospice Care has given amazing palliative care to family members diagnosed with cancer to allow them to spend their final days at home and several of our team have bene impacted by and lost loved ones to Multiple Sclerosis which is why we are committed to helping MS Society help those suffering with the condition live well and fund research to stop MS for good. This year we are cycling over 300 miles with over 26,000 ft of climbing from Cangas de Onis to Santiago de Compostela in Spain which includes the scenic Lagos de Covadonga climb in the Picos de Europa. This iconic and challenging climb has been used over 22 times in La Vuelta on the professional cycling tour as a summit finish. The climb from our start point is over 4,000 ft of vertical ascent with a steep ramp in the mid- section. This is the fourth leg of our circumnavigation of Europe by bicycle for our charities and with your incredible generosity we have raised over £100,000 to date. We are completely self-funded so all of your donations go straight to our charities. If you are able to please do support us, every little helps and I know that your donations will make an incredible difference to those that need it most.
