Story
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more…
In this part of the world, one person is diagnosed with
breast cancer every ten minutes. One in eight women will develop breast cancer
in their lifetime.
It is a disease that many of us have, directly or
indirectly, been affected by. It doesn’t discriminate on gender, age, race or
creed.
On 28 April, I will be running the London Marathon in the unmistakable
colours of Breast Cancer Care to help them raise vital funds to help us beat
this disease, once and for all.
I am hugely conscious of the fact that I have come ‘cap in
hand’ before, so please feel no obligation, but any donation, no matter how
small, can really make a difference.
Thanks in advance for your support- it means the world to
myself, Lucy and our families.
