Story

This Movember I've decided to donate my face by growing a  moustache to raising awareness about men's commonest cancer - Prostate Cancer.

This is NOT just a disease of old men, but can occur in your 40's - now that makes it a little more real for most of us - get your PSA checked.

My late father in law was in his 40's when he was diagnosed with this killer disease, and only in his early 60's when it took him away from us. He set up this pioneering charity, realising how far behind medical science was for Prostate Cancer, compared to other cancers.

For more details I urge you to please visit  http://www.thepcrf.org.uk/who-we-are/index.ph

About the charity

The Prostate Cancer Research Foundation has two aims, the first to promote independent worldwide research into all aspects of prostate cancer; and the second to spread the crucial knowledge gathered from that research as far afield as possible, via an internationally recognised forum, attended by the world’s top prostate cancer experts. The Prostate Cancer Research Foundation is also the home of the Bob Monkhouse ‘Give a few bob’ campaign www.giveafewbob.org.
