I'm Walking Together, Saving Lives.September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, and to show my support on Saturday 26th September I am taking on a sponsored walk to raise lifesaving funds for Anthony Nolan.

My cousin Mark was diagnosed with Leukaemia 4 years ago, and after treatment, was in remission.
However, in June this year, he was told the cancer has come back 😥.
His best chance of survival from Leukaemia is now a Stem Cell Transplant - (this may sound scary, but don't worry most donations can be taken by a blood test). The challenge now is to find a matching donor. Unfortunately, all family members so far have not been a match.

As we are of Chinese Heritage it means it is harder again to find that match. There is a massive shortage of donors, particularly young people, who prove to be the best donors. 

It costs £40 to add each new potential donor to the Anthony Nolan stem cell register. Every new person on the register means another chance for someone to find their lifesaving match.
