Story

My Dad has been living, unknowingly, with symptoms of MND for the last two years and in early 2023 received his diagnosis.

As his symptoms have worsened I wanted to do something with him and for him. By donating you will be providing essential funding for the Motor Neurone Disease Association to bring us closer to finding a drug or treatment to slow down and hopefully one day cure the disease. This will also give me the opportunity to run the London Marathon for him. It is my wish that he will be there at the finish line 🙏

When I first wrote the message above, in August 2023, I said it in hope but now thanks to Amy and 3 weeks with her team at www.bodyscience.life my Dad isn't cured but some of his symptoms have eased and although in this photo his timing is a little off, he has got his smile back and I believe he will see me at the finish line.

If we keep going by raising awareness and promoting research, reversals of this disease can one day be common practice.

Thank you very much for your donation!
