Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Ten years ago two of my friends went through the worst thing imaginable - their baby was born sleeping. Lee and Sarah have amazed me over the years in the way they have dealt with a loss that no-one can imagine.
A lasting legacy of Isabelle is the charity work they've both taken part in over the years. From Sarah swimming in the Lake District to Lee deciding to drag himself through miles of mud to get electrocuted at the end (Tough Mudder if you're interested). Their other two children (Joshua and Lilly) are involved too. Taking part where they can - or alternatively laughing at Lee.
They've also ran two succesful and brilliant charity nights in Liverpool with the proceeds going to Saying Goodbye in memory of Isabelle.
This year Isabelle would have been ten years old - therefore they've set themselves a challenge of raising £10,000 in 2017.
I wanted to help, the best way I know is to do a bit of a run. You may not know but I'm a bit of a runner. So I'm doing a few. In April I went to Hamburg and ran a personal best of 3:56:36. In November I'm taking on the original marathon route. Marathon to Athens. A big hill. I realise it's difficult in this day and age, but any amount no matter how small or large is massively appreciated. Also my employers HSBC will fund match £ for £ up to £1,000 so every pound really counts double. Thanks again and from Myself, Lee, Sarah, Joshua, Lilly and Isabelle.
