Story

Please join us on Saturday 25th May 2019 at The Simon Langton Boys School, Canterbury. Where I will be holding an afternoon of archery, live music, bbq, welly throwing, raffle with amazing prizes and a bar to quench your thirst!

I have been a Type 1 Diabetic for 2 years now, life since then has had many challenges and hills to climb! I have gone from injecting myself at least four times a day to now being on an insulin pump that is the closest thing so far to the artificial pancreas. The pump has changed my life in many ways and has allowed me to lead a far more normal life, I can eat again when I choose too! Although for me the insulin pump has given me a better quality of life, I still have to calculate  the carbohydrates that are in  everything that I eat or drink, I have to check my blood glucose levels up to 10 times a day including during the night and I also battle with when my blood glucose is not at levels that it should be.

I am now doing all I can to help raise awareness and funds to JDRF in hope of finding a cure for me and many others suffering this life changing and potentially fatal disease.

Thank you in advance for all your support and we hope that the 25th will be a day of fun and achievement!
