On the 10th  July 2019 our son Edward had Open Heart Surgery at just 18 months old to close a hole in the valve of his heart (known as a VSD).

As parents, this was obviously by far the worst and most scary experience we have ever been through.

Luckily, Eddie made a remarkable recovery and we are extremely lucky that he remains fighting fit to this day.

From our time spent at this hospital and our dealings with them since, we have always wanted to try and give something back and although nothing will ever repay our thanks to them for saving our baby’s life, we hugely appreciate how much the charity funding is relied upon.

Because of this, both Bobbie & I will be taking part in the London Marathon  on 21st April 2024. We will be aiming to raise as much money as we can and would really appreciate any penny donated from our friends and family.
