We assist vulnerable and disabled children to gain access to education and health care

Story

I am a 17 year old at St Margaret's High School Airdrie and my life was transformed by visiting Malawi in June 2014. I was affected by it so much that I have chosen to return there in June 2015 and I'm raising funds to go again. I want to get as much money as possible for these incredible people and you can help me do it! Very recently Malawi was hit by catastrophic floods which devastated the area we work in Mulanje. Many of our most close friends in Malawi had their homes destroyed, which were built and funded by us over the years namely the makhoza women's farm project which began as a starving community with nothing, we raised them from the brink of disaster and gave them homes and farming equipment and they became incredibly self sufficient and well housed, however nearly all of the villagers are staying with Ruth Samson our friend in the Makhoza because their own houses have been destroyed by the floods. They now have no crops too and are starving to death again, a terrible reverse of fortune. The disabled project we work with has also been terribly affected so we ask you to help them too because many of our sponsors homes have been destroyed. We need your timely and generous contributions as soon as you can and also we ask for your prayers.

God bless you and thank you for your generosity.
