Frontline activists and lawyers are exposing some of the worlds worst examples of corporate abuse often at great risk. RAID, a UK-based corporate watchdog, works side-by-side with these local heroes in places such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad and Tanzania to hold multinational companies to account for human rights abuses and environmental harm. This year, I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for them. RAID's work in helping to hold companies to account would be impossible without them. They collect evidence about abuses by multinationals, act as the contact for those affected, and struggle through national courts against the power of corporate giants.
