Celebrate 90 years of life-changing services by taking on a 90 themed fundraiser. The money you raise will help us remained committed to supporting people with sight loss now, and for the next 90 years.

Story

Since losing my sight last year I have obviously experienced massive changes in my life. The most important thing to me has been to retain as my much independence  as possible.  A guide dog can make a huge difference to this, going for a walk on your own is such a small thing but so difficult to do with sight loss. I have had so much advice and support from Guide Dogs and other charities and would love to raise some funds to help them help me gain that independence back.

Ce can change a life this October when you support my Guide Dogs 90 Appeal fundraiser! The UKs first guide dog partnership qualified in October 1931. Since then, support from people like you has helped Guide Dogs transform the lives of thousands of blind and partially sighted people. The impact of losing your sight is the same now as it was 90 years ago. Its terrifying and its isolating. Without help, people with sight loss are likely to encounter unemployment, depression, loneliness, and financial insecurity. But with your help, they can be who they want to be. Guide Dogs provides a range of life-changing services and are working hard to reach many more people with sight loss. When you make a donation, you will be helping Guide Dogs ensure people living with sight loss across the UK feel less alone, now and for the next 90 years.Thank you!

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
