Story
My son, Ben, contracted malaria whilst in Ghana earlier this year. It was a terrible thing for him to go through, and for us, his family, to see him go through. Ben is a healthy, active guy who looks after himself, but malaria hit him hard. At one point he couldn't walk, he reacted very badly to the anti-malarial drugs he was given, and the hospital conditions were dire. He was lucky and recovered, but the reality is that every two minutes a child dies from malaria. And yet, it is preventable and treatable costing less than £1 for lifesaving medicine. By making a donation today, you’ll be helping us to protect millions of children and their families from malaria, saving lives and building better futures.
