Story

Mati has made huge progress to get to where she is, and with a big push further, amazing milestones are within reach!
Just4Children are fundraising for Mati to help her get the support to access therapies she needs to improve her independence and quality of life.

Mati has Cerebral Palsy which means that she has to work very hard to achieve all the milestones that healthy toddlers just come by effortlessly. There is no cure for CP and the only available option is therapy and acute treatment of symptoms (i.e. increasing spasticity,  hip migration etc). NHS provides us with a level of support however intensive physiotherapy at young age is crucial in rewiring Mati's brain to enable her to achieve maximum level of independence.

Matilda loves working with the therapy teams and really realises the benefits of the hard work she's putting in. Seeing how she engages in therapy and how desperate she is be able to keep with he peers we decided to make the 2023 Mati's Year. Our family are on a mission! We will be working with best therapy teams and accessing new technologies like vibration, DMI and eStim which all come at a high price! That's why we have partnered up with Just4Children to fundraise to cover part of the cost.

To kick off the campaign and encourage others who might be considering challenging themselves in the new year to support #MatiOnAMission, she has taken on a SuperTri event organised by the wonderful bunch at the Bigmoose and smashed it!
