About 9 years ago my Dad's life considerably changed due to a stroke, thankfully due to rehabilitation, care and a will to get back to being independent, he made a fantastic recovery. Not all stroke victims are as lucky as dad! 

The Stroke Association funds research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation, and helps stroke patients and their families directly through its Life After Stroke Services. These include Information, Advice and Support, Communication Support and Life After Stroke grants. 

So I'm attempting the Thames Bridges ride this May, it's 33 miles through london, I know 33 miles doesn't seem a great deal but I am no Lance Armstrong I'm afraid!!! Your support would be amazing and hopefully spur me on to take on further challenges. (U gotta start somewhere I suppose) All donations to The Stroke Association would be amazing and if you want to go a step further why don't you join me for the ride!!!
