Matthew Alexander is raising money for Leighton Buzzard and District Young Farmer's Club
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am a member and current chairman of Leighton Buzzard Young Farmers and we are arranging to do the 'Three Peaks Challenge' in June 2017 to raise as much money as we can for two local charities.
The Three Peaks challenge involves ascending and descending the highest mountain in England, Wales and Scotland within 24 hours. All of the money raised will be split between our chosen charities; KidsOut and the Florence Nightingale Hospice.
For those of you who don't know KidsOut is a national organisation based in Leighton Buzzard - they provide children, who may have fled domestic violence, with exciting memories to cherish. We have selected KidsOut as their ethos is very close to our hearts, providing opportunities for young people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The second charity receiving an equal share of the funds raised will be the Florence Nightingale Hospice, another local organisation who provide an excellent palliative care service for those suffering from cancer along with a day hospice and 24 hour community care teams.
Each member of the Three Peaks team have been given the task to raise 250 pounds each to go towards our final total. I hope you will be able to help me get there!
