Our Mental Health services can often be financially CHALLENGED.

In 2022 TEAM CHARMERS is rising to these challenges and hoping to help some fellow humans along the way.

Dan & I are aiming to complete the 24hr/3 Peak challenge at the beginning of September to help raise money for Basildon MIND mental health charity.

We ave both faced times when our own Mental Health has threatened to take us down, so in the hope of helping others that find themselves in a similar situation we are taking up the challenge.

Training has already begun, and we will be organising walking events where others can join us.  Maybe you want to talk through
some issues, maybe you know exercise helps your Mental Health or maybe you just want to support us and enjoy some scenic rambles.  These walks will be highlighted in our FB Events tab so keep an eye out…..we’d love your company.

MIND Basildon - Many people are having problems with anxiety, low moods, feeling locked in or overwhelmed by family problems, and these may have become worse over the last 18 months.

We are here for you, so please get in touch with us if you think you need some help. We have been keeping our counselling service open since the first lockdown and we are building on that. Quite a lot of the appointments are remote (e.g. by phone or Zoom), but we are also seeing people face-to-face in our counselling premises, which we have adapted to make ‘Covid safe’, with the help of our counsellors, volunteers and staff.

To keep everyone safe, we ask that you visit our Counselling premises only if you have an appointment. Visitors will not be allowed in without a booked appointment. possible)
