Hospice care eases the physical and emotional pain of death and dying. Letting people focus on living, right until the end. But too many people miss out on this essential care. Hospice UK fights for hospice care for all who need it, for now and forever.

Story

Following my fleeting appearance on 'This Morning' Gareth and I were asked if we would once more run the Marathon in aid of Help the Hospices, the charity we chose to support in memory of our Dad, Peter Urch.  Now yes we both did say never again! But the truth is we feel one more go with the benafit of more training and knowing exactly what lies ahead is achievable.

In 2013 we were overwhelmed with financial donations allowing us to raise a mammoth £9000, something we are grateful to everyone for. We are realistic to the fact that we can't push for peoples genorosity for a second time, so we will say if you want to donate it will be gratefully recieved, otherwise please support one of our fundraising events as we look to add a further £4000 and hit the £13k mark overall.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and they recieve it immediatly. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
