Story
Myself and two fellow AV nerds/pals have made a pledge to lug our legs 26.2 miles through the Yorkshire Dales on the 3rd July 2021 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Which, after over 12 months sat on the sofa rewatching The Office US and Peep Show incessantly, is going to be FUN. I mean spending 4+ hours outside of the house at the moment is exhausting in itself. But then again, the views are bound to be better than the white wall in my living room or the view I hiked 4 hours to see last time (photo above), right? Right?!
We're hiking for Macmillan, who do fantastic work in supporting those battling cancer. My family has been hit with various forms of cancer four times in recent years and whilst I have been fortunate enough that all family members have made a recovery, there are far too many that do not. That's a good enough reason to fundraise in itself, but there's also the prospect of a free beer and sandwiches at the finish so...
It's been an incredibly tough 12+ months for everyone on all fronts, but if you can spare anything and donate anything that you're able to - it would be hugely appreciated and I promise to hug you twice (when we're allowed).
