Yemen Emergency Aid

200km in 12 days · 9 July 2020
My twin sister Sophia, and I, are fundraising for Yemen Emergency Appeal, run by the Human Relief Foundation.
Yemen have been suffering since 2015 under the weight of political unrest and conflict which has been overlooked and ignored for far too long. It is now regarded as the largest humanitarian crisis in the world. They are dealing with a war, a cholera epidemic, the COVID-19 pandemic, famine, malnutrition, increased domestic and sexual abuse as well as a complete lack of solidarity and support from other countries. 80% are dependent on humanitarian aid, 60% have nothing to eat, 58% have no access to clean water, and over 100, 000 people have already died: as often as every 11 minutes and 54 seconds a child passes away.
Between us, we will be running 200km in 2 weeks. For those of you who know me, I CAN’T RUN!!!! So this will be a challenge, but it’s for an incredibly important cause; Yemen could not be in a more critical position. This cannot wait.
Let’s be the generation of change, let’s do what we can to help make the world a better place. Any donations and shares are much appreciated!! Thank you for all your support.
