We are raising money in Aid of The Grand Appeal Charity by completing
a sponsored Cycle Ride called Cycle Croatia 2022 Challenge, this is a 3-day
challenge from the 30^th of September to the 2^nd October where
we will be cycling 300km (180 miles) around Croatia. This will be extremely
challenging for many of us as we are very inexperienced in cycling.

We are doing this because one of the Directors' Son was sadly
diagnosed with Leukemia at a young age whilst on holiday, this was an
extremely terrifying and devastating experience for his family and everyone around
him. He is one of the lucky children which with the support of the Bristol Children’s
Hospital & The Grand Appeal he is well and still receiving ongoing
treatment, unfortunately not all children are this lucky.

The money raised for The Grand Appeal will be used to help
other families and children who are in a similar situation.

How the Grand Appeal Help

• Family Accommodation: .The charity runs three accommodation houses that provide a safe and supportive place for families to stay while their child is in hospital.

• Medical Research: They fund medical research programmes to ensure the hospital remains a hub of innovation, where every day experts pave the way for sick children through a network of projects with international impact.

• Equipment:  The charity funds state-of-the-art equipment to save lives.
  

• Music, Play And Art Therapy: The music, play and arts programme can be seen on every ward at Bristol Children’s Hospital, helping young children to deal with the stresses and fears they may face during treatment.

• Art Enhancements:  The Grand appeal make sure Bristol Children's Hospital provides a fun stimulating and comforting space for the brave children it cares for. 

We have a total target of £85,000 to raise from fundraising
events and kind donations of which half will be used to pay for the cost of the challenge including accommodation.
