The sponsored walk that's good for the sole! We're challenging you to walk 100,000 steps in your chosen week of May and raise at least £100 for Guide Dogs thats less than 1p per step!

Story

I am taking part in the sponsored walk that's good for the sole! The challenge is to walk 100,000 steps in the week beginning 10th May and raise at least £300 for Guide Dogs that's just 3p per step! The sponsorship money you help me raise will make a huge difference.

£50 could buy an ‘Off to School Kit’ for a puppy moving into
its first stage of training with a volunteer puppy walker

£500 could buy “starter kits” for 4 new guide dog owners, containing all the essentials they need to start life with their new guide dog

If I could raise £2500 I could donate a name for a guide dog puppy which would be really amazing!

I'll never run marathons but this is a challenge within my reach! Please sponsor me and share this as widely as you can with friends and family!

For the last 30 years, my guide dogs have allowed me the freedom and confidence to be the person I want to be. For this reason I want to help raise vital funds for this valuable service to continue to grow and help many more people like me who are blind or partially sighted.

I have had six guide dogs so each day, as well as an update on my progress, I will tell you a little about each dog, so keep checking back to this page!

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
