In the 2004  Asian Tsunami  Della who worked for Nature at the time was saved by a fisherman on the beach in Sri Lanka.   ALPSP members have supported the  Charity she set up with her husband Don.  ALPSP members  have paid for a boat, fishing nets, a water tank and donated money towards the teachers' salaries.  An unused fishing hut has been converted into a school room and the charity supports 5 teachers. It is hoped that this group of children will become the first generation to leave a life of poverty and become self-supporting. Please ride for us or sponsor your colleagues.
