Our school's 'Generations' group are taking part in the 'memory walk' for Alzheimer Scotland this year during Alzheimer awareness week. This years memory walk is not the average walk in the park! Alzheimer Scotland has asked that you choose your own walking route and choose a place that is special to you... we have chosen to walk to our local care home! 

Last year we visited the staff and residents at our local care home every week and with current restrictions they are really missed! The care home specialises in dementia care so we hope to show our support through doing this instead for the time being. We hope you can support us! 

We will be doing a socially distanced walk to the care home after school and ending the walk by giving a wave in to the staff and residents of the care home from outside! Some other pupils, teachers and school groups are also carrying out their own memory walks over the weekend in support of this page too!
