Yes, the rumours are true - I've signed up and I am running the Brighton Marathon on 15th April 2012! Yikes.

The reason I'm putting myself through this is to raise money for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

The money raised will go towards The White Company's Hearts Helping Save Little Hearts campaign. The company aims to raise £250,000, over the next two years, to build a suite of rooms in the new Heart and Lung Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital, including an individual bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a single bed bay and a waiting room.
