Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 10 September 2017 I will be running The Yorkshireman Off Road Marathon.  

Capped at 300 entrants most participants are serious runners, which I, having never run more than 5 miles am not.  As you would expect from any Marathon in Yorkshire, it's not an easy one.  The terrain is a demanding 26 miles on uneven ground, up and down a lot of bloody big hills! 

I will be supporting a campaign run by the British Red Cross Society.  The British Red Cross Society help vulnerable people in the UK and abroad prepare for, withstand and recover from emergencies in their own communities.  I will be supporting a specific campaign that the Red Cross are running to help support those involved in the horrific Manchester Bombing on 22 May 2017.
