Story

As many of you reading this will already know, my son Elliott Joseph Walker died of a rare genetic disorder in July 2013, when he was 10 days old.

In his short life he received exceptional care at Great Ormond Street Hospital, from staff who we will be eternally grateful to.

In September, Ben Edwards and I will be running the Great North Run to raise money for Great Ormond Street. I will be looking to actually complete it this year, having foolishly collapsed half a mile before the end last year, and it will be Ben's triumphant return to distance running since he came 13819th in the London Marathon 2013 (he was aiming to finish in the top 13820).

Please give whatever you can to help Great Ormond Street continue to do what they do for so many poorly little children and their parents every day.

Thank you,

Michael and Ben

P.s. That's not Elliott in the photo, it's my daughter Cora, who was born 1 year and  1 day after Elliott.
