Story

1407km 1000 miles in 9 Days

Cycling the length of Great Britain, from Land’s End - John O’Groats for Macmillan Cancer Support & Cancer Research UK

Our motivation for doing this challenge is that we have all had personal dealings with someone that has had Cancer. Mike's Dad has battled and beaten bowel cancer twice now. Liam's Mum has battled and beaten breast cancer and Dave has had family members and friends that have also battled with cancer.

MacMillan have played a massive role in supporting people before, during and after treatment and also their families and Cancer Research do vital research in finding a cure for the big C word.

1 in 2 of us statistically will get cancer in our lifetime Therefore, we would like to be able to raise a substantial amount for these amazing charities, in order to support more people who are diagnosed and require the personal and emotional support they need and deserve & to contribute to the progression and development of cancer treatments going forward.

As always, thank you.

Mike, Dave and Liam.
