June this year marks 5 years since the tragic and sudden loss of my best friend’s amazing mum, Jackie.

In her memory, on 28th May our group of friends and family are taking on a 100km ultra marathon “Race to the Castle” for charity.

Starting in Kirkhale, camping overnight in Amble half way and finishing at Bamburgh Castle, we’re taking on this huge challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and show how much Jackie meant to us all.

I’d be so grateful for anything you can give to support the cause - every donation, however big or small, will go towards BHF’s lifesaving research into heart disease, helping reduce the number of people like Jackie who are taken from us too soon.
