Myself, Ally and Auntie Barbara are walking the iconic Morecambe Bay Sands in support of the care provided at Lancashires only childrens hospice, Derian House.

In the days leading up to Pip passing the community Derian house team were fabulous, the family support team and nursing team. 

After Pip passed away, Derian house were an absolutely fantastic support to us all, the day Pip gained her wings, my worst fear was her little body going to a funeral home and her being by herself!! (As a parent you look after your babies till the very end) 

We were able to take Pippa to Derian house only a few hours after she passed and she stayed in the sunflower room until the morning of her funeral. We as a family also stayed in the family accommodation at Derian house until the funeral. As parents it gave us the chance to look after our little girl till the very end. 

Even after the funeral we were given family support xxx
