Covid 19 restrictions have put a stop to the plans for our annual fundraising hike on the 12th September 2020, but in true Climbing Out spirit we asked, 'How can we?' & came up with the idea of an Adaptive Tri Challenge!
A number of previous Climbing Out participants will be joining Kelda (the founder of Climbing Out) on each leg, aiming to complete a 15km hike, a 50km kayak & a 60km fixed cycle. The objective of the challenge is to raise awareness about Climbing Out, to motivate and inspire others who've been through mental or physical trauma, and to spread the message about how we all can adapt, overcome & use setbacks to make us stronger.
We'll also be raising funds for Climbing Out as well as giving the participants involved a goal to focus on through lockdown & the challenges faced through Covid19.
We'd also like to invite anyone to become part of the ATC by completing your own hike, paddle or cycle.
It's going to be tough, but hey, that's why we've got to do it!
