Reasons for Fundraising for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

Hey Everyone! 

My name is Michelle and i am 35years old.

I have been given an amazing opportunity to run the London 2024 Marathon with the amazing charity Roy Castle Lung Cancer. 

I have lost afew amazing members of my family to cancer but my reasons for wanting to run for this charity are as followers: 

In 2018 i lost my amazing mum, who very suddenly lost her battle with stage 4 lung cancer, she had a primary and secondary tumour. It was a very sudden decline as she was diagnosed on the 1st August and sadly lost her life on the 13th September the same year. 

My mum was an amazing and caring, loving woman and was always a fighter! She was a community carer and her “extended family” was everything to her as well as her own family. 

I owe a lot of who i am to her and i hope i can make her proud for not only raising the funds for this amazing charity who can help Lung Cancer patients as well as the family and the research but to make her proud of the daughter she raised.

This is the reason for this, and i hope with your help and donations i can reach my goal.

All proceeds will be going to Roy Castle cancer foundation
