My brother had the opportunity of a kidney in March 2013, he had mixed feelings at the time because he had been unwell just prior to the transplant. When he was in recovery I thought he would get to have the quality of life he had before his kidneys failed. It wasn't anything like that and he was struggling with the anti-rejection drugs he had to take. I remember him saying to me once, that he was fed up being ill. In August 2013 things took a turn for the worse and he ended up on life support until 13th August 2013, our sisters 40th birthday he became our Angel and guardian. This is my way of keeping his memory alive and hopefully other patients will get the opportunity to have what my brother had. Please support my raising money for a cause that means a lot to me.
