On 13th November 2020, we lost our wonderful wife, Mum, Mother-in- law and Grandma to Covid at the young age of 64. She left behind a heart broken family including 7 grandchildren. Grief Encounter have been an amazing support to our family, as well as so many others who have lost loved ones. 

On Sunday 21st March 2021, we are joining Grief Encounter's first ever 'Forget-Me-Not' Walk to raise funds for Grief Encounter. For every £26 we raise, we could fund the cost of a grieftalk helpline session, providing essential emotional support for a grieving child or young person, following the death of a parent. As a family we aim to raise £2600.

100% of the funds raised will go towards supporting bereaved children and young people who have experienced the death of someone close, and families and individuals impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Since March last year, there have been over 100,000 deaths due to Coronavirus. Grief Encounter offer professional support services online, including group workshops, individual e-counselling and memory workshops for all of those who need them. They can't do that without your support.
