We are taking part in our first midnight walk this year, usually we do race for life but with heartfelt thanks to St Lukes Cheshire Hospice for the wonderful care and support given to our family during my Dad's illness (he spent 10 weeks at St Lukes and passed away on my birthday in December age 62 from Cancer) We could not have coped without the dedicated support from the staff at St Lukes. Dad was able to spend the last few weeks of his life surrounded by his family and friends. Nothing was too much trouble, mates from the pub could pop in, we even took our dogs on a regular basis, Dad was always as comfortable as possible and treated with respect, good humour and importantly his pain was able to be controlled much better than we had managed at home. It was such a stressful time, the staff always took time to support the whole family - we really want to give something back to this wonderful place - it costs so much money to provide such wonderful care - please sponsor us, every single pound counts. Thank you sooooo much. In memory of John "Warby" Warburton and with loving memories of our Mum, Linda who died age 54 also from Cancer. Thank you, all our love
